Erasmus Darwin was born December 12th, 1731 in England. Darwin was a British physician, natural philosopher, physiologist and slave-trade abolitionist. He believed that all living organisms including man evolved over time but never knew how this process occurred. This theory of his wasn't spread worldwide but was profoundly influenced over his grandson, Charles Darwin who would later become one of the main fathers of evolution. Darwin offered the first glimpse of the theory of evolution.
